I soooo wish!

With the excitement of moving into a new place (the beach house is almost move-in ready!), I've been longing for a change. Before I moved back to Honduras I would change residence every year, sometimes it was a hassle, sometimes it was exciting. After 6 years of living outside my parents' home, I'm itching for my own space now that I'm back in. If only I could afford it!

But a girl and dream and if I did this is the apartment I would be living in. The pictures are off of Sweedish real estate website Alvhem and if I could buy every single property they list, I would!

Not a huge fan of the closet but that window desk is out for my heart.

I remember for years all I wanted was for one of those design shows to come and do my college dorm/apartment sooo bad! This would have been amazing! She did such a good job and the room turned out really cute.

Exciting news!

My family's beach house is under construction finally!! This has been a project that has gone wayside too many times and it is finally becoming a reality!
These are some renderings someone did from the architect's blueprints. It's pretty cool we can see what it will look once it's done.
My mom's love for the Mediterranean coast is what inspired this design and she wants all hues and tones of blue to decorate. So in order to help out a bit I'll be posting findings along those lines. Happy hunting to me!

OMG! I'm loving it!

I'm obsessing over this room. I love the combination of colors and that white and black striped duvet is killing me!!! I'm thinking about redoing my room like this. Granted I don't have as much light as this room does but I don't have to paint all the walls teal. We'll see!

Aren't they fun? What used to be just a utility room has become the center of our relaxation rituals. Nothing better than having the space where you are the most intimate be beautiful and a reflexion of your personality!

My bathroom at my parents is t-i-n-y, so big open space bathrooms always catch my eye!

This was a note-worthy bathroom. Definitely points for originality and color scheme. Not a lot of storage room though!

Exposed Brick Walls

I looooove exposed brick! My home is about 50 -50 exposed brick and plastered walls. Bricks add warmth to any room plus they look fabulous when combined with almost any color...except the neons obvi. ;)
